Stan Lee Has Filmed Cameos For Most Of Marvel’s Phase 3

stan lee cameoSmilin’ Stan Lee has enough non-actor cameos in Hollywood movies to rival Alfred Hitchcock, but that’s not going to stop him anytime soon. Stan Lee has just revealed that he’s filmed cameos for five of the six remaining films in the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s Phase 3. is reporting that at a recent panel at the Wizard World Nashville comic convention, Stan Lee’s manager Max confirmed that the Marvel maestro has filmed a bunch of cameos for movies that will be released over the next two years:

“What we can say about Avengers: Infinity War is that he filmed both parts, one and two. We did Ant-Man, we did Black Panther. We did Thor, too.”

The only portion of Phase 3 that doesn’t have a Stan Lee cameo in it just yet is Captain Marvel, which is incidentally the only movie that has yet to start filming. Thus far, Stan Lee has appeared in all of the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s films, all six Spider-Man films, both Hulk movies, the Daredevil movie, two Fantastic Four movies, three X-Men movies, Big Hero 6, and the first Deadpool movie, along with the Deadpool short that aired in front of Logan. It’s likely that he’ll get back into the cameo-making game with Captain Marvel and Spider-Man when those movies film next year.

The Marvel Cinematic Universe has a number of upcoming releases, including Thor: Ragnarok on November 3, 2017, Black Panther on February 16, 2018, Avengers: Infinity War on May 4, 2018, Ant-Man & The Wasp on July 6, 2018, Captain Marvel on March 8, 2019, an untitled Avengers sequel on May 3, 2019, and an untitled Spider-Man sequel on July 5, 2019. In addition, sequels to Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 and Doctor Strange are in development – along with a number of unannounced projects – but have not yet been scheduled.
