The founding father of the Marvel universe crossed paths with the Star Wars galaxy’s new fan-favorite droid at this year’s Stan Lee L.A. Comic Con.
A cute little Instagram video shared by Cy Collectibles shows a seated Stan Lee interacting with BB-8 at the weekend-long convention. Check out the full clip below!
The encounter took place at the seventh annual convention named after Stan Lee himself, which offers fans on the West Coast an alternative to the increasingly overcrowded San Diego Comic Con held during the summer. The event celebrates different areas of pop culture, which guests from the worlds of comics, movies and television making appearances each year.
BB-8 made his debut in the Star Wars galaxy in 2015’s The Force Awakens. The film introduced a slew of new characters including Rey, Finn, Poe and Kylo Ren, but it was this energetic and loyal new droid that fans of all ages responded to the most strongly.
