The annual Star Wars Celebration is coming to Orlando, Florida this year and the convention has just announced three more fan favorite actors that will be in attendance. Additionally, EA Games has also been confirmed to be on hand at the event.
Yesterday, The Topps Company and Authenticators, Inc. announced that recently-retired Chewbacca Peter Mayhew, Ray Park (Darth Maul in The Phantom Menace) and Daniel Logan (young Boba Fett from Attack of the Clones and The Clone Wars animated series) will be in attendance, signing autographs in the Autograph Hall. They will be joining the already announced Taylor Gray (voice of Ezra Bridger from Rebels), Angus MacInnes (“Gold Leader” Dutch Vander from A New Hope and Rogue One), Jimmy Vee (R2-D2 in The Last Jedi), Paul Blake (Greedo in A New Hope), Brian Herring (a BB-8 puppeteer on The Force Awakens), Tim Rose (animatronic designer/puppeteer of Admiral Ackbar) and Clive Revill (the original Emperor Palpatine from The Empire Strikes Back).
Also, on today’s episode of The Star Wars Show, it was officially confirmed that EA Games, makers of such video games as Battlefront and The Old Republic, will be in attendance to show off their latest games. Some of their mobile games, like Force Collection, Star Wars Pinball and Galaxy of Heroes, will be playable on the show floor. Perhaps we’ll also get a look at the upcoming sequel to Battlefront, which is promised to feature an actual story mode this time around, something that was a common complaint with the original.
BioWare will also be hosting an off-site The Old Republic Cantina event where fans can meet the game’s developers and check out some of the game’s latest features.
Star Wars Celebration Orlando will take place on the weekend of April 13th through the 16th and will be held at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida. Ticket information and more can be found at StarWarsCelebration.com.
