Lucasfilm has released the second episode of the new 2-D animated female-led series of shorts Star Wars Forces of Destiny.
Star Wars Forces of Destiny is a total of eight shorts which highlight the female heroes of the Star Wars galaxy as the series explores everyday heroism and crosses over with the films of the franchise. The series features mini adventures with heroines such as Rey, Jyn Erso, Ahsoka Tano, Hera Syndulla, Sabine Wren, Padme Amidala, Maz Kanata and Princess Leia.
The second episode titled “BB-8 Bandits” picks back up with Rey and the orange and white ball droid on Jakku during the events of Star Wars: The Force Awakens. Before they can make their way to Niima Outpost and cross paths with Finn, sending them off on their adventure across the galaxy, Rey and BB-8 find themselves in danger as Teedo attempts to steal the droid back from Rey. You can watch the episode below.
