While the film is currently still bringing in the money at both the domestic and international box office, a new report indicates that you will be able to add Star Wars: The Last Jedi to your Blu-Ray collection sooner than some of us might have expected. According to The Digital Bits, you’ll be able to add Star Wars: The Last Jedi to your Blu-Ray collection in late March. The site states the following:
And file this in The Rumor Mill, but a number of our retail sources have checked in with word that the tentative street date for Disney’s Star Wars: The Last Jedi on Blu-ray, DVD, and 4K Ultra HD is 3/27. That sounds about right, but the date could still shift a little bit until it’s officially announced. We do know that the Blu-rays will include about 20 minutes of deleted scenes and, one would imagine, a trailer for Solo: A Star Wars Story as well.
While this might seem a bit early, it’s worth noting that Star Wars: The Force Awakens was released on Blu-Ray on April 5th following it’s December 18th release and Rogue One hit shelves on April 4th following a December 10th release date. So, the timeline seemingly matches up here and if it does indeed change release dates, it shouldn’t be far off from the reported date. Will you be picking up Star Wars: The Last Jedi when it hits shelves? What are you hoping to see in the bonus features? Sound off in the comments section below.
