‘Star Wars: The Last Jedi’ Commercial Features New Shot Of Rey

Star Wars Last JediThe release of Star Wars: The Last Jedi is only about six weeks away, and pretty soon we should be seeing plenty of advertisements showing off our favorite returning characters in this new chapter of the saga.

During Game 4 of the World Series, a new commercial for the film premiered. In this cut, we see almost all of the same beats we saw in the first trailer from Monday Night Football, save for one new addition: a closeup shot of Rey as she ventures towards the Force Tree. It is clear from these early ads that the Force Tree represents something significant to her Jedi training on the mysterious world of Ahch-To.

Written and directed by Rian Johnson, Star Wars: The Last Jedi stars Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, Adam Driver, Oscar Isaac, Lupita Nyong’o, Domhnall Gleeson, Anthony Daniels, Gwendoline Christie, Andy Serkis, Laura Dern, Kelly Marie Tran and Benicio del Toro.

Star Wars: The Last Jedi will be released in theaters on December 15, 2017.
