‘Star Wars: The Last Jedi’ Trailer Hits 120M+ Views In 24 Hours

Star Wars Last JediThe final trailer for Star Wars: The Last Jedi made a huge splash when it aired at halftime during Monday Night Football earlier this week.

In less than 24 hours, the trailer managed to rack up over 120.1 million views across broadcast TV and social media platforms worldwide. All in all, the final trailer managed another 29.1 million more views than the film’s first trailer which was revealed at Star Wars Celebration Orlando in April.

Lucasfilm issued a press release, thanking fans for their support and excitement to see the upcoming eighth chapter of the Skywalker saga and confirming that most domestic showings for opening night have already sold out. In addition, the UK/Ireland box office also had one of its biggest pre-sales ever.

The film stars Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Adam Driver, Oscar Isaac, Anthony Daniels, Domhnall Gleeson, Gwendoline Christie, Benicio del Toro, Laura Dern, Kelly Marie Tran, Lupita Nyong’o, and Andy Serkis. Here’s the official synopsis:
