‘Rogue One’ IMAX Poster Revealed; Plus Two New TV Spots

Star Wars Rogue One

With just over a month to go until the film opens in theaters, USA Today has revealed a brand new IMAX poster for Gareth Edwards’ Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.

This poster has everything: the good guys, X-Wings, U-Wings (also known as UT-60Ds, a new model that will make its debut in Rogue One), an Imperial Star Destroyer, the Death Star — you name it. We also get a new look at Mads Mikkelsen’s Galen Erso, but the villains are nowhere to be found. I bet they’re hiding inside the Death Star.

You can check out the poster below along with a pair of new TV spots for the movie, feauturing our first look at Warwick Davis in full costume as an alien character.

From Lucasfilm comes the first of the Star Wars standalone films, ‘Rogue One: A Star Wars Story,’ an all-new epic adventure. In a time of conflict, a group of unlikely heroes band together on a mission to steal the plans to the Death Star, the Empire’s ultimate weapon of destruction. This key event in the Star Wars timeline brings together ordinary people who choose to do extraordinary things, and in doing so, become part of something greater than themselves.

The film stars Felicity Jones as Jyn Erso, Diego Luna as Captain Cassian Andor, Ben Mendelsohn as Director Orson Krennic, Donnie Yen as Chirrut Imwe, Mads Mikkelsen as Galen Erso, Alan Tudyk as K-2SO, Jiang Wen as Baze Malbus, Forest Whitaker as Saw Gerrera, Riz Ahmed as Bodhi Rook, Genevieve O’Reilly as Mon Mothma and Jimmy Smits as Bail Organa.

Rogue One: A Star Wars Story opens in theaters on December 16th.
