‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’: New Poe Dameron Character Poster

We’re getting pretty close to Star Wars: The Force Awakens, in fact, we’re only 13 days away from the release of the movie. I still can’t wrap my head around the fact that we’re getting a new Star Wars film in a little under two weeks, as a massive fan of the franchise it feels surreal. We’ve been getting plenty of TV spots for a quite a while now, but it looks like Disney is now gearing up for an even bigger marketing campaign up to the release of the film.

Disney has released a new character poster for the film, featuring Oscar Isaac as Poe Dameron. The poster was released via the official Star Wars twitter account with a tagline which reads: “Black Leader: standing by”. If the release of the character poster this close to the film is any indication, it looks like each of our heroes we’ll be getting their very own one sheet, with the exception of course of Mark Hamill’s Luke Skywalker, whose role has been shrouded in mystery.

You can check out the poster below and sound-off your thoughts in the comment section.

Star Wars: The Force Awakens stars Harrison Ford, Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, Anthony Daniels, Peter Mayhew, John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, Oscar Isaac, Domhnall Gleeson, Andy Serkis and Gwendoline Christie. The film hits theaters on December 18, 2015.
