DC’s ‘Stargirl’ Series Adds Jake Austin Walker, Meg DeLacy To Cast

Stargirl DC Universe Casting

While Doom Patrol is on the way and there’s been recent news in regards to Season 2 of Titans, let us not forget that the DC Universe streaming service will soon have a Stargirl show on the way as well. With that, there are two new additions to the cast for the upcoming DC program.

According to a recent report from Deadline, actors Meg DeLacy and Jake Austin Walker have joined the cast of the upcoming Stargirl series. While Jake Austin Walker’s role is currently undisclosed, the report states that DeLacy will join the DC series as the character of Cindy Burman, who is secretly the daughter of Nelson Lee’s Dragon King, a longtime foe of the Justice Society of America. Cindy, per tradition, will follow in her father’s footsteps. Sheesh, and you thought Artemis being Sportsmaster’s daughter was a big deal in Young Justice.

Again, no details have been revealed yet on who Jake Austin Walker will play, but at the very least, the casting for Cindy Burman could set up a potential antagonist for Brec Bassinger’s Courtney Whitmore in the upcoming DC Universe program. In the meantime, though, what do you think of this casting? Who could Jake Austin Walker possibly end up playing in the Stargirl series? Also, do you think more news could come around an event like Comic-Con this summer?

Let us know your thoughts in the comments below and stay tuned for more Stargirl updates.
