Stephen Amell Teases Oliver-Centric Episode For ‘Arrow’

Arrow Season 6 CW DC Stephen AmellEarlier this week, Arrow star Stephen Amell teased an Oliver Queen-heavy episode of The CW’s superhero show.

On Friday, the 36-year-old actor posted a video on Facebook detailing detailing just how many scenes he would participate in, in an upcoming episode of the show:

“Putting the starting touches on episode 618 after putting the finishing touches on episode 617 directed by my good buddy Mark Bunting who I felt incredibly fortunate, more fortunate than usual to work with one David Paul Ramsey. We’re also on 618 getting into a super old-school episode where I don’t know since maybe season 1 or season 2 where I’ve been in the percentage of the episode that I’m in, like 90…I think there are like 55 scenes and I’m in 52 of them.”

Since the show’s debut in 2012, the series has steadily been moving towards an ensemble series to compensate for its growing cast. In this video, however, Amell seems to think that this episode of Arrow will be far more centered on his character. No further details have been released regarding the episode’s content.

So what do you guys think? Are you eager for Arrow to return to its roots or should they stay the course? Let us know what you think in the comments below!

Arrow airs Thursdays at 9/8c on The CW.
