Sterling K. Brown Joins The Cast Of Marvel’s ‘Black Panther’

With production set to begin later this month, Marvel Studios has announced that Sterling K. Brown (The People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story, This Is Us) has joined the cast of Ryan Coogler’s Black Panther as N’Jobu, a figure from T’Challa’s past.

The actor shared the following message on his official Twitter page after the studio broke the news.

Brown — who recently won an Emmy for his role as Christopher Darden on People v. OJ Simpson —  joins a star-studded cast that so far includes Chadwick Boseman, who plays the title character, as well as Michael B. Jordan, Forest Whitaker, Lupita Nyong’o, Danai Gurira, Daniel Kaluuya, Winston Duke, Florence Kasumba and Angela Bassett.

Black Panther opens in theaters on February 18, 2018.
