‘Stranger Things 2’ Kids Appear On Rolling Stone Brazil Cover

Stranger Things 2 Rolling Stone BrazilAfter over a year of eager anticipation, Stranger Things 2 is only a little over one week away from its premiere on Netflix.

It is hard to believe that Netflix’s cultural phenomenon set in Hawkins, Indiana in the 1980s has already celebrated an entire year of acclaim and has been the center of discussion for all things strange. Whether it was the 1980s setting, the homages to Steven Spielberg and Stephen King or the remarkable cast of mostly newcomers, the Duffer Brothers created something really special.

With Stranger Things 2 looming, the marketing continues to ramp up to build the hype beyond its already astronomical levels. The most recent example is the newest cover of Rolling Stone Brazil.

The cover features the five young actors of the series from left-to-right: Caleb McLaughlin (Lucas Sinclair), Noah Schnapp (Will Byers), Millie Bobby Brown (Eleven), Gaten Matarazzo (Dustin Henderson) and Finn Wolfhard (Mike Wheeler). You can see the cover down below:

Let’s be real here – the heart of this series is the young actors and actresses. Along with the five previously mentioned, Natalia Dyer (Nancy Wheeler), Charlie Heaton (Jonathan Byers) and Joe Keery (Steve Harrington) also play some of the most memorable aspects of the series.

It is always fun seeing the young cast together, and seeing them return for this second season along with a few newcomers is exciting. The prospect of seeing these young characters grow up before our eyes a la Harry Potter is so exciting.

Stranger Things 2 stars Winona Ryder, David Harbour, Finn Wolfhard, Millie Bobby Brown, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, Natalia Dyer, Charlie Heaton, Joe Keery, and Noah Schnapp. In addition to Astin, the series has also added Paul Reiser (Aliens), Brett Gelman (Jobs), Dacre Montgomery (Power Rangers), Danish actress Linnea Berthelsen, and Broadway star Sadie Sink into the mix as well. Here’s the official synopsis:

It’s 1984 and the citizens of Hawkins, Indiana are still reeling from the horrors of the Demogorgon and the secrets of Hawkins Lab. Will Byers has been rescued from the Upside Down but a bigger, sinister entity still threatens those who survived.

Stranger Things 2 hits Netflix October 27, 2017. Stay tuned to Heroic Hollywood for the latest news on the next season of Stranger Things as we learn it.
