‘Stranger Things’ Pays Tribute To ‘The Evil Dead’ With New Poster

Stranger Things Evil Dead PosterNetflix has released another new poster for the smash hit series Stranger Things.

Following the Stand by MeA Nightmare on Elm StreetThe Running Man, Alien and Firestarter inspired posters, the streaming service pays homage to the 1981 horror classic The Evil Dead from director Sam Raimi this week. Stranger Things fan will surely remember the actual poster for The Evil Dead being featured in the series as Jonathan Byers (Charlie Heaton) had it on his wall only to have his estranged father, Lonnie (Ross Partridge) tell him to take it down as he deemed it inappropriate during the Byers’ family’s time of crisis.

You can check out the poster featuring Winona Ryder as Joyce Byers below.
