‘Stranger Things’ Gets ‘A Nightmare On Elm Street’ Inspired Poster

Stranger Things Nightmare Elm StreetFollowing last weeks Stand by Me inspired poster, Netflix has released a new Stranger Things poster, taking influence from A Nightmare on Elm Street.

Fans familiar with the ’80s horror classic instantly recognized nods to the Wes Craven film with the teen storyline as well as the Demogorgon’s way of stretching through the wall from the Upside Down into our reality. The new poster spotlights Natalia Dyer’s Nancy, who was named after Heather Langenkamp’s Nightmare on Elm Street character Nancy Thompson. Stranger Things creators Matt and Ross Duffer also had Dyer revisit the classic horror flick to prepare for her role in the Netflix smash hit.

You can check out the new poster below.
