Stunning New Poster For ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ Released

Disney and Lucasfilm have debuted the first theatrical poster for J.J. Abrams’ Star Wars: The Force Awakens via the official Star Wars twitter account.

The incredible one sheet features a plethora of characters from the fan favorite franchise, both original and newcomers, including Han Solo, Princess Leia, Chewbacca, R2-D2, C3-PO, Kylo Ren, Captain Phasma, Poe Dameron, Finn and Rey front and center on the poster. We also get our first look at the Star-Killer, which looks fairly similar to the Death Star. One character that is once again missing is Luke Skywalker, who has been absent from all the the promotional artwork that has been released so far.

Additionally, it has been confirmed that the final trailer for the film will indeed debut tomorrow night, during the New York Giants and Philadelphia Eagles game on ESPN. As we previously reported, the trailer will debut at halftime, according to the SportsCenter instagram account.

Star Wars: The Force Awakens stars Harrison Ford, Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, Anthony Daniels, Peter Mayhew,  John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, Oscar Isaac, Domhnall Gleeson, and Gwendoline Christie. The film hits theaters on December 18, 2015.
