‘Suicide Squad: Extended Cut’ Features Bigger Cameo For David…

suicide-squad-extended-cut-trailerSuicide Squad came out with its extended cut as of this week on Digital HD where fans got the opportunity to witness more scenes of the film. The Task Force X related film featured a number of cameos, with both Ezra Miller’s Flash and Ben Affleck’s Batman. But what some may have missed was that David Ayer, the director of Suicide Squad, had one too. According to Batman-News, Ayer’s cameo ended up being bigger in the extended version.

Per the site, it’s during the scene where the audience gets introduced to Killer Croc (Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje) as Ayer played one of Griggs’ (Ike Barinholtz) men. As they are getting to the sewer to feed Croc, Ayer’s unnamed characters says at one point “Hey boss, is it true he chewed a dude’s hand?” to which he gets a visual answer from one of the other men who has a prosthetic hand.

The scene ends with Croc getting a goat to eat as Ayer’s character picks one up and throws it down to him.

“It feels good to be bad…Assemble a team of the world’s most dangerous, incarcerated Super Villains, provide them with the most powerful arsenal at the government’s disposal, and send them off on a mission to defeat an enigmatic, insuperable entity. U.S. intelligence officer Amanda Waller has determined only a secretly convened group of disparate, despicable individuals with next to nothing to lose will do. However, once they realize they weren’t picked to succeed but chosen for their patent culpability when they inevitably fail, will the Suicide Squad resolve to die trying, or decide it’s every man for himself?”

David Ayer’s Suicide Squad: Extended Cut, starring Margot Robbie, Will Smith, Jared Leto, Ben Affleck, Cara Delevingne, Common, Viola Davis, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Scott Eastwood, Jai Courtney, Karen Fukuhara, Jay Hernandez and Shailyn Pierre-Dixon, is now available for purchase on Digital HD, with the Blu-Ray/DVD set to come out December 13.
