‘Supergirl’ Adds ‘Buffy the Vampire Slayer’ Star Emma Caulfield


If you are a big Buffy the Vampires Slayer fan and love the new TV show, Supergirl, then you are in for a big treat. The Mary Sue broke the news today that Buffy actress Emma Caulfield has been tapped to play the DC Comics character Cameron Chase on the new Supergirl series.

Caulfield who will be playing Cameron Chase is so far scheduled to appear in one upcoming episode of the show, but it’s very likely that she is going to be a guest recurring character. While it’s not known yet when she will appear, The Mary Sue was provided with an official character description by Warner Bros. TV which reads as followed:

“After her father’s violent murder, Cameron Chase decided to dedicate her life to law enforcement. Now a stern, no holds barred FBI agent, Chase’s weapons of choice are manipulation and manpower. With little sympathy, and plenty of suspicions, she pursues her targets with ruthless determination.

Catch new episodes of Supergirl on Monday nights, 8/7c on CBS.
