‘Supergirl’ Sneak Peek Sees Reign Take On The Legion of Super-Heroes

Supergirl LegionThe CW has released a sneak peek at the tenth episode of the third season of the hit DC Comics series, Supergirl.

In the tenth episode of the series entitled “Legion of Super-Heroes”, Kara (Melissa Benoist) remains sidelined and in a dreamlike state due to injuries sustained from her previous battle with Reign (Odette Annable). Meanwhile, Mon-El (Chris Wood) enlists the help of his wife Saturn Girl (Amy Jackson) and Brainiac-5 (Jesse Rath) in order to save the citizens of National City from Reign’s frenzied rampage.

You can check out the sneak peek below.

As featured heavily in the sneak peek above, The CW’s Supergirl continues to prominently showcase the powers and abilities of its superpowered characters and that will definitely be exemplified as the Legion of Super-Heroes continue to make their presence felt in the Arrowverse.

Supergirl stars Melissa Benoist as Kara Danvers/Supergirl, David Harewood as Martian Manhunter, Mechad Brooks as Jimmy Olsen, Chyler Leigh as Alex Danvers and Jeremy Jordan as Winn Schott, with appearances by Calista Flockhart as Cat Grant and Tyler Hoechlin as Superman.

Supergirl returns with new episodes on Monday, January 15th at 8/7c on The CW.

10 DC Comics Heroes That Should Appear On ‘Black Lightning’

Previous1 of 11

Black Lightning DC ComicsBlack Lightning premieres on the CW this month and fan excitement is high. Since it was announced that Black Lightning would not exist in the Arrowverse, but instead would be part of the multiverse like Supergirl, DC fans have been wondering what that means for other heroes to appear. Arrow started to introduce a larger canvas in season one with the introduction of Huntress and The Flash‘s first season introduced Firestorm so it stands to reason other DC Comics heroes might pop up in Black Lightning sooner rather than later.

This separate universe may open the door for Black Lightning to introduce lesser known DC heroes that don’t quite fit with the Justice League-level of heroes found in the Arrowverse. Black Lightning has a history of this in the comics, being a member of Batman’s the Outsiders, a group of superheroes who don’t quite fit the traditional standards of the superhero community. That should be the standard for what heroes are introduced on Black Lightning.

We compiled a list of ten DC superheroes that should appear on Black Lightning. Hit Next to get started!

Okay, getting further and further off track. Saturn Girl in the comics doesn’t have telekinesis, she’s a telepath. This is closer to the Invisible Girl or Jean Grey and they’re both Marvel characters. Possibly the writers heard “mind powers” and went with that without doing any research.

Anyway, with that in mind, I have an idea for the Great Reveal of the season: This Saturn Girl is an imposter!
    1. She doesn’t look like Saturn Girl
    2. She doesn’t have Saturn Girl’s costume
    3. She doesn’t have Saturn Girl’s powers
    4. She’s not married to Saturn Girl’s husband

Therefore she’s not Saturn Girl so who is she? A white Martian? How much does Mon-El know? Whose side is she on? Inquiring fans want to know.
