Over the weekend, director Taika Waititi promoted his latest film, Hunt For The Wilderpeople, at the Sundance Film Festival. And of course, with this came some questions about his next project, the upcoming Thor: Ragnarok. Speaking with CNet, the filmmaker discussed the Marvel threequel and how humor will fit into the film.
When tasked about joining the Marvel Studios family, Waititi discussed his excitement and collaborative process behind the film. There’s been numerous rumors about the studio controlling productions but according to the director, that’s definitely not the case here.
Finally, when asked if he could give any hints about the film’s plot, Waititi had to decline “because I don’t even know. We’re still figuring out what characters are in it and how they all interact. We’re very early on in prep, storylining, figuring it all out” You can check out more from Waititi on the upcoming Marvel threequel here. Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
