‘Talking Dead’ Guests This Week Include Kevin Smith, Tom Payne & Xander Berkeley

The Walking Dead live after-show, aptly called Talking Dead, airs after the show and usually brings on guests from the show itself. Along with host Chris Hardwick, the show discusses The Walking Dead, the plot, the characters, and occasionally brings on special guests who are not actors on the show.

Tonight’s episode of Talking Dead is set to include actors Tom Payne and Xander Berkeley. Payne plays Jesus, who’s experienced in combat and stealth. Berkeley, on the other hand, plays Gregory, the leader of the Hilltop and a man who’s very fearful of danger.

As a treat, fanboy/director/writer Kevin Smith will also be a guest on the show tonight. Smith has directed Dogma and Chasing Amy. Most recently, however, Smith has directed two episodes of The Flash and one episode of Supergirl. The director is very outspoken about his love of comics and the superhero genre, so his appearance on the show will be filled with passion and fascinating discussion.

Talking Dead is the second-highest rated show on Sunday nights, with the number one show on the same night is The Walking Dead. In tonight’s episode, Carl and Michonne discuss Rick’s decisions regarding Negan and Enid attempts to get to the Hilltop community.

The Walking Dead airs at 9/8c, while the Talking Dead after-show airs at 10/9c on AMC.
