An awesome new piece of fan art depicts Kingsman star Taron Egerton with Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine look.
James Mangold’s 2017 X-Men movie Logan marked Hugh Jackman’s final outing as Wolverine after nearly two decades of playing the classic X-Men character. Since then, Wolverine fans have been throwing out names for a possible successor to Hugh Jackman and Kingsman star Taron Egerton is a fan-favorite for the role of the clawed hero.
Now, Instagram user Ivan Morini has created a concept design that transforms Taron Egerton into Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine successor. The artwork in question features Taron Egerton with the same haircut as Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine and the famous adamantium claws for which the X-Men hero is known for.

Marvel Studios, which now holds the film rights to Wolverine and the X-Men following Disney’s acquisition of 21st Century Fox, confirmed plans to include mutants in the Marvel Cinematic Universe during its 2019 San Diego Comic-Con presentation. However, the studio is reportedly in no rush to introduce the X-Men to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, meaning it will likely be some time before we learn who will replace Hugh Jackman as Wolverine.
As for whether or not Taron Egerton is actually interested in playing Wolverine, the actor has said that he would love to be part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe whether it would be replacing Hugh Jackman as Wolverine or another role. But for now, Marvel Studios is continuing full steam ahead in Phase 4 of the MCU without the mutants.
