Telltale Developing New ‘Stranger Things’ Game Series

Stranger Things NetflixNetflix has confirmed that Telltale is working on a Stranger Things video game series following a report released earlier today.

Tech Radar originally reported that Telltale Game is developing a new series set in the Stranger Things universe. The report states that the game was originally supposed to launch alongside Season 2 but was postponed. Telltale has worked on other games based on popular television series including, Game of Thrones and The Walking Dead. The third season of Stranger Things will star Winona Ryder, David Harbour, Finn Wolfhard, Millie Bobby Brown, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, Natalia Dyer, Charlie Heaton, Joe Keery, Noah Schnapp, Cara Buono, Dacre Montgomery, Sadie Sink, Cary Elwes, Jake Busey, Maya Hawke, and Francesca Reale. The series is currently available on Netflix.

There is currently no release date set for Telltale’s Stranger Things video game series at the moment.

New 'Stranger Things' McFarlane Toys Include Barb and DartEntertainment Weekly has revealed some brand new collectible McFarlane Toys for the hit Netflix series, Stranger Things. These new toys give fan-favorite Barbara “Barb” Holland (Shannon Purser) and D’Artagnan or “Dart” the action figure treatment.

Fans looking to add some more Stranger Things toys to their ever-growing collection will have the opportunity to add these two beloved characters from Netflix’s cultural phenomenon, which is currently filming its third season.

The special Barb action figure will be sold in a special retro-style packaging and will retail for $19.99. For those wanting to add Dustin Henderson’s (Gaten Matarazzo) beloved Demo-Dog Dart, it will be a squeezable figure that finds its lizard-like tail and jaws open wide when squeezed. It will retail for $9.99.

Created by The Duffer Brothers, the sci-fi horror series revolves around the mysterious disappearance of a young boy in the fictional town of Hawkins, Indiana. The project is produced by The Duffers under their Monkey Massacre banner along with co-executive producer’s Shawn Levy and Dan Cohen of 21 Laps Entertainment.

The Duffer Brothers also wrote the series with Justin Doble, Jessie Nickson-Lopez, Paul Dichter, Jessica Mecklenburg, Alison Tatlock and Kate Trefry.
