Teri Hatcher Makes Her Debut In ‘Supergirl’ 2.16 Synopsis

Supergirl Teri Hatcher Costume TeaseThe CW released the official description today for the sixteenth episode of Supergirl Season 2 titled “Star-Crossed” which will air on Monday, March 20 and feature the debut of Lois & Clark: The New Adventures Of Superman’s Teri Hatcher. This will also mark as the kick-off to the upcoming musical crossover with The Flash, which is where the musical will be mostly taking place at, in “Duet”.

TERI HATCHER (“DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES,” “LOIS & CLARK: THE NEW ADVENTURES OF SUPERMAN”) AND KEVIN SORBO (“HERCULES”) GUEST STAR; DARREN CRISS (“GLEE”) MAKES HIS DEBUT AS THE MUSIC MEISTER – A new villain (guest star Teri Hatcher) comes to National City, putting Supergirl (Melissa Benoist) on high alert. Meanwhile, Winn’s (Jeremy Jordan) girlfriend, Lyra (guest star Tamzin Merchant), gets Winn in trouble with the law. Maggie (guest star Floriana Lima) attempts to help Winn but old loyalties get in the way. The Music Meister (Darren Criss) attacks Supergirl. John Medlen directed the episode written by Katie Rose Rogers & Jess Kardos (#216). Original airdate 3/20/2017.

It was announced that Crazy Ex-Girlfriend star Rachel Bloom has written a song called “Superfriends” as one of the original songs that we will be getting in the crossover. La La Land songwriters, Benj Pasek and Justin Paul, have also contributed with a song for the event as Grant Gustin will be singing “Runnin’ Home to You”. Glee’s Darren Criss will be playing the villainous Music Meister.

The musical event will feature stars from all four CW DC shows with Barry Allen (Grant Gustin), Kara Zor-El (Melissa Benoist), Joe West (Jesse L. Martin), Cisco Ramon (Carlos Valdes), Martin Stein (Victor Garber), Malcolm Merlyn (John Barrowman) and Winn Schott (Jeremy Jordan) that will all be making singing appearances. Martian Manhunter (David Harewood) and Mon-El (Chris Wood) will show up in non-singing capacity. Gustin and Benoist have worked with Criss previously as all three of them come from the FOX musical comedy-drama Glee that ran for six seasons.
