Based on all of the trailers and TV spots, it looks like all of chaos in Avengers: Infinity War all leads to Wakanda when Thanos (Josh Brolin) unleashes his forces upon the country. So much for revealing themselves to the world…
Wakanda has dealt with some battles of its own throughout history. Black Panther featured a climactic battle between tribes as well as between T’Challa (Chadwick Boseman) and Erik Killmonger (Michael B. Jordan), but in terms of scale and danger, that is nothing compared to what Thanos will unleash.
While promoting Avengers: Infinity War, Chadwick Boseman revealed that the battle in Wakanda will have a long-lasting significance:
“This would be the biggest battle (0r) war that’s hit Wakanda ever, I would say. So you have to have lasting ramifications.”
Well, Thanos’ impending doom will not only leave lasting ramifications upon Wakanda, but the entire universe and its existence as these heroes know it. The Avengers and the Guardians of the Galaxy better stop Thanos from collecting all six Infinity Stones before it’s too late…
