‘The Flash’ & ‘Supergirl’ To Have Crossover Event In March

Ever since CBS aired the first episode of Supergirl, many fans had been wondering whether or not we would eventually see a crossover between the show and CW’s The Flash. We’ve been hearing quite a lot about that matter from Executive Producers Greg Berlanti and Andrew Kreisberg in the past few months, but now the two networks have made it official: Grant Gustin will reprise his role as the Fastest Man Alive on an upcoming episode of Supergirl, which is slated to air on March 28th on CBS.

However, we don’t have any official details about the episode yet, but we’re likely going to find out more in the next few weeks. The announcement was accompanied with the following statement by Berlanti and Kreisberg:

We are so incredibly excited to announce something that we have dreamed of happening since we starting making ‘Supergirl’ – ‘The Flash’ and ‘Supergirl’ are teaming up! We want to thank Grant Gustin for making the time to come visit (on top of his already immense workload) and all of the folks at CBS, The CW, Warner Bros. and DC for working this out. And finally thanks to the fans and journalists who have kept asking for this to happen. It is our pleasure and hope to create an episode worthy of everyone’s enthusiasm and support.

What do you guys think? Are you looking forward to seeing the two heroes standing side by side next month? Sound-off your thoughts in the comment section below.
