With a new TV spot that sparks the rebel war against the Empire, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story has two new banners to complement the spirit of the film.
Jyn Erso was seen instilling hope in the rebels and the two new banners, which you can check out below, give us the visual of the rebels marching into battle against the Stormtroopers.
Each banner is meant to reflect each side. The first banner has the Stormtroopers charging from the left, while the second banner has the rebels coming in and ready to fight from the right. The setting is on a beach with clear water lapping at the sand. If you weren’t looking at the people involved and the weapons they’re holding, it could fool you into believing that it’s a calm atmosphere.
In a time of conflict, a group of unlikely heroes band together on a mission to steal the plans to the Death Star, the Empire’s ultimate weapon of destruction. This key event in the Star Wars timeline brings together ordinary people who choose to do extraordinary things, and in doing so, become part of something greater than themselves.
Rogue One: A Star Wars Story is directed by Gareth Edwards and stars Felicity Jones, Mads Mikkelsen, Ben Mendelsohn, Riz Ahmed, Alan Tudyk, Forest Whitaker, Diego Luna, Genevieve O’Reilly and James Earl Jones.
The film is in theaters December 16, 2016.
