8 Things We Want To See In The ‘Spider-Man: Homecoming’ Sequel

8. Peter’s PTSD From Infinity War

Spider-Man: Homecoming Venom

We already know that Spidey will have a big part in Avengers: Infinity War. Peter will get his wish and join up with the Avengers to not only help save Earth, but probably save the galaxy from Thanos as he gains the Infinity Gauntlet. He’s about to fully be engaged in a world of Gods, aliens, and limitless powers. That’s something pretty heavy for a young kid from Queens.

With the upcoming sequel starting just moments after the conclusion of Avengers: Infinity War, Peter will have to come back to a normal life, well, as normal as it can be as a high school-aged superhero. He’ll have to have some sort of culture shock coming back from that adventure. He’s surely going to fight aliens, as well as team up with a team that consists of a talking racoon, a tree, Drax, Gamora, and a half-human/half Celestial — that’s a lot to take in as well. With Avengers: Infinity War also having featuring deaths of some of our favorite heroes, this will be Peter’s first experience with war and death. Much like Tony Stark had some PTSD in Iron Man 3 due to the events of The Avengers, Peter may possibly go through the same ordeal.

  • Bring back J.K. Simmons to play JJJ. Of all the re-castings, I dread them using anyone else as JJJ. He was note perfect in the role, and frankly, it would be amazing to see him again and I feel like he shouldn’t just be a newspaper man, but a media mogul with his own opinions and agendas being fed through his media empire, including an anti-super hero stance, then you could have him show up in any of the movies in cameos as a talking head.
