Tessa Thompson To Reprise Role As Valkyrie In ‘Avengers: Infinity War’

Tessa Thompson will - apparently - reprise her role as Valkyrie in the upcoming 'Avengers: Infinity War.' Hit the jump to check it out!

We are seven months away from Tessa Thompson’s debut as Valkyrie in Thor: Ragnarok, but thanks to Omega Underground, the actress will reprise her role in Avengers: Infinity War. Described by many as the “culmination” of everything in the Marvel Cinematic Universe – so far – Infinity War has quite the cast. With actors like Robert Downey Jr., Mark Ruffalo, Chris Hemsworth, Chris Evans, Chris Pratt, Tom Holland, Benedict Cumberbatch, Scarlett Johansson, Zoe Saldana and many more; it seems impossible to keep track of what is going on.

Thompson is best known for her roles in Creed and Dear White People, and her portrayal of Valkyrie seems to be one of Ragnarok‘s most unique aspects. Infinity War is currently filming in Scotland, and a lucky fan grabbed a quick snap with Thompson while out-and-about. Nobody really knows how large her role will be, but it is really nice to see her carry over from Ragnarok. This does make a lot of sense, as many believe Ragnarok will end just as Infinity War begins, so it only makes sense to bring Valkyrie and Thompson back. The upcoming Avengers film looks to be a huge one, and I for one, cannot wait! Stay tuned for Heroic Hollywood for any updates.

Avengers: Infinity War hits theaters everywhere on May 4th, 2018. The film also stars Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans ,Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, Paul Bettany, Elizabeth Olsen, Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautisa, Bradley Cooper, and Vin Diesel as well as Pom Klementieff, Michael Rooker, Karen Gillan, Benedict Cumberbatch, Tom Holland, Sebastian Stan, Chadwick Boseman, Samuel L. Jackson, Tom Hiddleston, Benicio Del Toro and Josh Brolin.
