Thor: Ragnarok will introduce audiences to the Grandmaster with Jeff Goldblum portraying the eccentric ruler of the planet Sakaar. While fans will have to wait until the film hits theaters next week to see what the future holds for the Grandmaster, actor Jeff Goldblum recently teased the character’s next appearance during an interview with Radio Times.
Goldblum explained that he shot a material for a piece involving a roommate that sounds similar to the Team Thor short mockumentary that was released months ago:
“I shot a thing with Taika, where there’s a roommate in Australia. I show up at his, and I do knock on his door. And I take up residence in the little flat, as they say here. That’s what I do. And order things from the takeaway restaurant. Buy all the local foods.”
The shorts depicted Thor’s time living in Australia with his roommate Daryl during the events of Captain America: Civil War. Now, it appears Grandmaster may be stopping by to experience life on earth.

5 Reasons We’re Excited For ‘Thor: Ragnarok’
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 is out on home media and Spider-Man: Homecoming has been playing in theaters for a while now, so it’s time to look forward to the next Marvel movies, the first being Thor: Ragnarok.
The trailer for the film is incredible. The vibe, the action, the set-design, the soundtrack, every element of the trailer screams, “This is a different kind of Thor movie.”
And that’s exactly what we need. Thor: The Dark World was the most easily forgettable Marvel sequel, only distinguishable from the original for its use of fan-favorite villain Loki. Thor: Ragnarok looks poised to switch up the formula, seeming more like a fun intergalactic romp than a brooding space epic.
Judging from the trailer and other positive buzz, there’s plenty of cause to be excited for Thor: Ragnarok. Here are the 5 reasons why. Click next to get started!
