We’re only a month away from getting Thor: Ragnarok and the excitement is certainly palpable. We’re at the point where TV spots are going to start rolling out, revealing more and more, in small pieces, some hilarious scenes to come.
The latest TV spot features small shots of characters like Thor, Hulk, Valkyrie and Loki, but the end tag is amazing. Taking place after Thor meets Hulk in the gladiator arena on the planet Sakaar, Loki reacts to the big green giant who bashed him around like a ragdoll in The Avengers being back.
You can watch the TV spot below.
This honestly proves that there is some truly gutbusting stuff that director Taika Waititi has saved for us and not just given away in the trailer like many movies can do. It also means that Thor: Ragnarok will use previous character interactions as comedy which will make fit right in with the rest of the MCU, and not just be “Standalone Goofy Space God Romp”.
The film stars Chris Hemsworth, Tom Hiddleston, Cate Blancett, Idris Elba, Jeff Goldblum, Tessa Thompson, Karl Urban, with Mark Ruffalo, and Anthony Hopkins. You can read the synopsis below:
Imprisoned on the other side of the universe, the mighty Thor finds himself in a deadly gladiatorial contest that pits him against the Hulk, his former ally and fellow Avenger. Thor’s quest for survival leads him in a race against time to prevent the all-powerful Hela from destroying his home world and the Asgardian civilization.
Thor: Ragnarok in cinemas November 3rd.
6 Times The Justice League Came Up Short
The Justice League is comprised of the best and brightest heroes the DC Universe has to offer. When you’ve got Wonder Woman, Superman and Batman all on one team, it’s a hard combination to beat. Despite their combined strength, the Justice League has been taken down quite a few times in their long history.
Over the years, the League has faced all kinds of threats, ranging from a grief-stricken Black Adam on a rampage to an invasion of White Martians. Usually the Justice Leauge is able to overcome these threats, but sometimes they don’t have what it takes to stop evil. Of course, these are comic books and things usually shift back towards the light side in time, but that doesn’t mean darkness can’t win, at least temporarily.
Since Justice League finally hits theaters in November, now seems like as good a time as any to talk about a few times the team has fallen short. With that said, hit Next to learn more about six times the Justice League lost!
