After the small feud between Chris Hemsworth and Ben Affleck, a fan made a Thor: Ragnarok poster based off of The Dark Knight Returns.
For those unaware, Hemsworth and Affleck recently had a friendly feud over actor Matt Damon, trying to determine who he was better friends with. In light of this small Twitter war, a fan decided to make a poster for Thor: Ragnarok based on one of the most famous Batman stories, The Dark Knight Returns.
The full poster can be seen below:
While the poster is only fan made, it looks amazing. It’s almost enough to make fans wish for a proper crossover between the the Dark Knight and God of Thunder. Not only does it show Thor (Chris Hemsworth) wielding the iconic lightning on the photo, but also recolors the Marvel logo to look closer to DC’s and adds the names of the three main actors from Thor: Ragnarok to the cover.
It seems as though Hemsworth has a pattern of getting into feuds with DC actors. The first was when Gal Gadot argued that Wonder Woman could beat Thor in a fight and now he’s taking on Batman in the name of friendship. The question is, will he start beef with Shazam (Zachary Levi) when his titular movie hits the screen next year?
Who do you think would win in a fight, The Dark Knight or Thor? Would Batman be worthy to wield Mjolnir? Leave your answers down in the comments below!
Thor: Ragnarok stars Chris Hemsworth, Tom Hiddleston, Cate Blanchett, Mark Ruffalo, Tessa Thompson, Idris Elba, Karl Urban, and Jeff Goldblum.
Imprisoned on the other side of the universe, the mighty Thor (Chris Hemsworth) finds himself in a deadly gladiatorial contest that pits him against the Hulk (Mark Ruffalo), his former ally and fellow Avenger. Thor’s quest for survival leads him in a race against time to prevent the all-powerful Hela (Cate Blanchett) from destroying his home world and the Asgardian civilization.
Thor: Ragnarok hits theaters November 3rd.
