‘Thor: Ragnarok’ Prelude Comic To Revisit Hulk’s Origin Story

Thor Ragnarok HulkPhase 3 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe will have a big presence this year in the world of movies, as we are getting three new films from Marvel, with Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, Spider-Man: Homecoming and Thor: Ragnarok. With the Marvel Studios films, we usually get prelude comics leading up to the film’s arrival and thanks to Amazon, we now know what to expect from Thor: Ragnarok’s comic.

Based on the official synopsis for the comic, we will be revisiting Bruce Banner’s origin story, although it remains to be seen how much of Bruce’s early days we will see in the story. The prelude comic will be available for purchase as of Tuesday, October 17.

‘Thor: Ragnarok” is directed by Taiki Waititi and returns Chris Hemsworth starring as Thor and Tom Hiddleston reprising his role as Loki. They are joined by Cate Blanchett, Idris Elba, Jeff Goldblum, Tessa Thompson and Karl Urban, with Mark Ruffalo and Anthony Hopkins.

Kevin Feige is producing with Lous D’Esposito, Brad Winderbaum, Victoria Alonso, Thomas M. Hammel and Stan Lee serving as executive producers. The story is by Craig Kyle & Christopher Yost and Stephany Folson and the screenplay is by Eric Pearson. “Thor: Ragnarok” thunders into U.S. theaters on November 3, 2017”
