Timothee Chalamet becomes Robin in a new concept design that imagines the Call Me by Your Name star as the Boy Wonder for Robert Pattinson’s The Batman.

One of the most anticipated films coming out of Warner Bros. has to be Robert Pattinson’s The Batman, which is set to be a gritty take on Bruce Wayne’s early years as the Caped Crusader. Details on the Matt Reeves-directed project are slim, though we do know that the star-studded cast primarily comprises of villains. With so many classic DC Comics characters like Catwoman, The Riddler and The Penguin in tow, it’s surprising that Pattinson’s Batman has no Robin to help bring Gotham’s scum to justice. While we don’t know if Robin is set to be introduced in The Batman, a cool fan edit depicts Timothee Chalamet as Robin.

Timothee Chalamet has been fan cast as Robin numerous times. Recently, digital artist “Mizuri” shared artwork that depicts Chalamet as Robin, rocking the modern Titans costume that compliments Robert Pattinson’s gritty Batman outfit. You can check out the concept design below.

Timothee Chalamet is one of the most beloved stars in Hollywood. Starring in indie films like Call Me By Your Name and Lady Bird, as well as historical dramas like The King, Chalamet has proven himself to be one of the most versatile actors working today. He will soon be seen in Dune, which will be his first foray into a franchise. With his future bright, he’d be perfect to take on the role of Robin for Robert Pattinson’s The Batman.

Plot details for The Batman are being kept under wraps but the project will be centered on Robert Pattinson as a younger Bruce Wayne, chronicling Batman during his formative years as Gotham City’s protector. The Batman will also feature the hero making use of his detective skills more than what we’ve seen before in previous iterations of the character. The film is also expected to be the first installment to a new trilogy with Pattinson as Batman.

Directed by Matt Reeves from a script he co-wrote with Mattson Tomlin, the film stars Robert Pattinson as the Caped Crusader, Zoe Kravitz as Catwoman, Paul Dano as the Riddler, Jeffrey Wright as Commissioner James Gordon, John Turturro as Carmine Falcone, Peter Sarsgaard as Gil Colson, Jayme Lawson as Bella Reál, with Andy Serkis as Alfred Pennyworth, and Colin Farrell as the Penguin.
