‘Titans’ TV Series Officially Dead At TNT

The Television Critics Assocation (TCA) is currently going on where several television networks are giving updates on ongoing and upcoming series, including projects that are/have been in dvelopment. In the comic book TV realm, there has been a Teen Titans series called Titans in development since September 2014 for TNT.

But there has been major lack of news for that project over the two years and today, Kevin Reilly, president of TNT, confirmed the sad news that Titans is officially no longer in development on the network. All that he said to reporters at TCA was the following.

“We decided it wasn’t where we wanted to go,”

Whether or not this means that Warner Horizon (who was behind Titans) will take it somewhere else remains to be seen. However, with the rumors that a Teen Titans movie being in development featuring Ray Fisher’s Cyborg, from Heroic Hollywood’s own Umberto Gonzalez last fall, a Teen Titans TV series may be off the table completely.

Are you disappointed about the death of TNT’s Titans and you would rather want a Teen Titans movie? Let us know in the comments below.
