Toby Jones and Rafe Spall Join ‘Jurassic World’ Sequel

Jurassic World

Two new actors have signed on to join Chris Pratt and Byrce Dallas Howard in the currently untitled Jurassic World sequel, the fifth instalment in the Jurassic Park series. The actors in question are Toby Jones and Rafe Spall. Apparently producers are also preparing to test for two other key roles, though what these (or the roles of Jones and Spall) will be is yet to be discovered.

You may recognise Jones from blockbusters such as the first two Captain America films and The Hunger Games, as well as an episode of BBC’s Doctor Who. He is currently set to appear in Sherlock‘s fourth season when it kicks off in January 2017. Spall can be seen in the likes of PrometheusThe BFG and The Big Short. You can currently check him out in season 3 of Black Mirror, which is currently streaming on Netflix.

The Jurassic World sequel is set for release in July 2018, and will be directed by J.A. Bayona, with Frank Marshall and Pat Crowley producing. Colin Trevorrow, the director of Jurassic World, has written the script along with Derek Conolly. Steven Spielberg will executive produce.
