According to The Hollywood Reporter, Fantastic Four star Toby Kebbell is in negotiations to join Tom Hiddleston (The Avengers), Brie Larson (21 Jump Street) and Corey Hawkins (Straight Outta Compton) in Legendary and Universal’s Kong: Skull Island.
Yesterday we found out that Jurassic World scribe Derek Conelly will be doing some last minute polishing on the script, which was written by Max Borenstein (Godzilla) and John Gatins (Real Steel), before the film starts shooting this October in Hawaii.
Jordan Vogt-Roberts is set to direct the film, which tells the story of a group of explorers who venture into the mysterious island, which just so happens to be the home of the king of the apes. The project is being produced by Thomas Tull and Jon Jashni, and is scheduled to hit theaters on March 10, 2017.
