See ‘Venom’ Star Tom Hardy Get Wolverine Look To Replace Hugh Jackman

WE are Wolverine.

Venom star Tom Hardy transforms into Wolverine to replace Hugh Jackman in a stunning new concept for the Marvel Cinematic Universe movies.

Although Tom Hardy will be seen next in Venom: Let There Be Carnage alongside Woody Harrelson’s Cletus Kasady, the British actor is also often fancast as Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine successor for the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Hardy is pretty set on continuing playing Eddie Brock and Venom for the foreseeable future, but it’s not too hard to picture the actor picking up a set of Adamantium claws for the MCU.

The concept of Venom star Tom Hardy surfaced online, showing off a stylish version of Wolverine in present day. The fan art uses a shot of Hardy from GQ to picture what Marvel’s next version of Logan Howlett could look like alongside the other heroes in the MCU like Falcon, Winter Soldier and Doctor Strange. Instagram artist “Houseofmat” redesigned the image to give the actor Logan’s classic wild hairstyle as well as a subtle use of an ‘X’ pin, just to let it be know that he’s with the X-Men. Check out the artwork of Tom Hardy as Wolverine!

Should Tom Hardy exit his Venom role and step into Hugh Jackman’s shoes as the next Wolverine? Which era of the comics should Marvel Studios take from when mutants finally arrive? Would you want to see Tom Hardy as Wolverine in an Avengers film? Comment below and let us know!

Directed by Andy Serkis from a script written by Kelly Marcel, Venom 2 stars Tom Hardy as Eddie Brock, Michelle Williams as Anne Weying, Naomie Harris as Shriek, and Woody Harrelson as Carnage. In the meantime, fans can turn to all home media formats to re-watch the first film. Here’s the official synopsis for the film:

The evolution story of Marvel’s most enigmatic, complex and badass character – Venom! Eddie Brock (Tom Hardy) is a broken man after he loses everything including his job and fiancée. Just when his life is at its lowest, he becomes host to an alien symbiote which results in extraordinary superpowers – transforming him into Venom. Will these powers be enough for this new lethal protector to defeat great evil forces, especially against the far stronger and more weaponized symbiote rival, Riot?

Venom is now available on Digital HD, 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray, and DVD. Meanwhile, Let There Be Carnage is currently set to hit theaters on June 25, 2021. Stay tuned for the latest news regarding Hugh Jackman, Wolverine, Tom Hardy and the Venom sequel, and be sure to subscribe to our YouTube channel!
