From Venom to Wolverine!

Tom Hardy steps into a classic X-Men suit to replace Hugh Jackman as Wolverine in a new design for the Marvel Cinematic Universe movies.

It seems the Marvel Cinematic Universe might be introducing the X-Men sooner than some fans might’ve expected. While Ryan Reynolds will return as Deadpool, Marvel Studios will have to find another Wolverine unless Hugh Jackman comes out of superhero retirement. There’s also the possibility of Tom Hardy’s Venom crossing over into the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Still, if that doesn’t happen, fans are ready to see him take over the Wolverine mantle.

Whenever Marvel Studios decides to bring in Wolverine, it’s expected that Logan will finally don the iconic yellow and blue costume that Hugh Jackman never wore in the X-Men movies from 20th Century Fox. Digital artist Saarukan Suhanthan shared a new piece of fan art that not only depicts Tom Hardy as Wolverine but also puts him in the suit we all want to see in live-action someday. Check out the artwork below.

Will Marvel Studios give Wolverine his classic X-Men suit? Is Tom Hardy the best actor to succeed Hugh Jackman? Sound-off in the comments!

Here is the synopsis for Tom Hardy’s first Venom film:

The evolution story of Marvel’s most enigmatic, complex and badass character – Venom! Eddie Brock (Tom Hardy) is a broken man after he loses everything including his job and fiancée. Just when his life is at its lowest, he becomes host to an alien symbiote which results in extraordinary superpowers – transforming him into Venom. Will these powers be enough for this new lethal protector to defeat great evil forces, especially against the far stronger and more weaponized symbiote rival, Riot?

Directed by Ruben Fleischer from a script written by Jeff Pinkner & Scott Rosenberg and Kelly Marcel, Venom stars Tom Hardy, Michelle Williams, Riz Ahmed, Scott Haze, Reid Scott, Jenny Slate, Ron Cephas Jones, and Woody Harrelson.

Venom is now available on Digital HD, 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray, and DVD. Meanwhile, Let There Be Carnage is currently scheduled to open in theaters on June 25, 2021.
