Tom Hiddleston Hasn’t Actually Spoken With Marvel In A Few Years

While Tom Hiddleston was set to make an appearance in Avengers: Age Of Ultron and it’s widely assumed that we will Loki re-appear in Thor: Ragnarok, it seems that Hiddleston truly does not know when he’ll pop back up in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The actor revealed that it has actually been quite some time since he had any disucssions with Marvel.

You know, I genuinely do not know. I wish there was something I could tell you. I haven’t spoken to anyone at Marvel for about two years. That universe is expanding at such a rate, so…your guess is as good as mine.

Does this mean that the character may continue to rule Asgard in the guise of Odin throughout the entirety of the next Thor film? Hiddleston commented on Loki’s rule of the realm.

That’s all I know that he’s been doing [ruling Asgard]. I’m interested to see what’s happened in the time between. I like to believe that actually he runs Asgard pretty well. The trains run on time and he keeps the streets clean.

It’d be pretty insane to believe that Marvel Studios wouldn’t take full advantage of one their most popular characters Ragnarok, but you never know. Perhaps they want to hold on to Hiddleston in the role for future plans? Let us know what you think in the comments below.
