Here’s How Long Tom Hiddleston Has Been Lying About His ‘Loki’ Series

Tom Hiddleston had to be tightlipped about his future as Loki and the Avengers: Endgame actor has now revealed how long he has known that his character is getting his own series.

During a recent interview with MTV News, Tom Hiddleston spoke at length about his role as Loki and his involvement with Marvel Studios and its cinematic universe. While talking about Avengers: Infinity War and Loki’s death in the movie, Tom Hiddleston was directly asked how long he knew about the upcoming Disney Plus Loki series. The actor revealed that he knew about it roughly a month and a half before Infinity War hit theaters:

“I knew about six weeks before the worldwide release of Avengers: Infinity War. Which meant I had to go and do press for Avengers: Infinity War going, ‘Yup, that’s it guys.'”

Tom Hiddleston’s Loki was among the first casualties in Infinity War. After a failed attempt to assassinate Thanos, Josh Brolin’s Mad Titan choked Loki to death. The God of Mischief would eventually return in Avengers: Endgame in the 2012 timeline where he stole the Cosmic Cube from the Avengers before making his escape. The Loki series will reportedly revolve around this version of the character.
