Fan-Made Trailer Imagines ‘The Batman’ Directed By Zack Snyder

Suicide Squad Batman Ben AffleckA talented DC fan has edited together a trailer for The Batman, which follows up on the promise made in Justice League’s post-credits scene.

The trailer, which was edited by Jon Arryn Garza, uses clips from several Batman films. This includes The Dark Knight, Suicide Squad, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, and Batman Begins. Though you’ll recognize all the sources used in the edit, the trailer still provides an interesting concept for long-awaited film:

Despite this trailer crediting Zack Snyder as the director, we do know that Matt Reeves is currently slated to direct the film, re-writing the script by Ben Affleck and Geoff Johns. However, Affleck’s involvement in the solo film is still up in the air. Hopefully, we will learn more at Warner Bros’ SDCC panel next month. Until then, let this trailer hold you over.

From their mental plans to pure physical muscles, all of these villains have terrorized the citizens of Gotham and put the pain on Batman multiple times over the years.

Of course, there’s more than one way to be strong. Some of these villains rely more so on their minds or dastardly plots to attack Batman, while others rely on technology or their muscles to bring the pain. Regardless, the stronger the villains, the stronger Batman has to become to stay one step ahead. Without these deadly foes, Batman wouldn’t be the capable hero fans know and love. Every plot may leave him with a few more scars, but all of these villains have pushed Batman to become a better hero for the citizens of Gotham.
