‘How To Train Your Dragon 3’ Pushed Back To 2019

How to Train Your Dragon 3 has been pushed back yet again.

Universal has announced that the DreamWorks Animation release will now arrive in theaters on March 1, 2019. The project was previously slated for May 18, 2018, meaning that we’ll now have to wait for ten more months.

Dean DeBlois — who helmed the first two How to Train Your Dragon movies — will return to direct the highly anticipated sequel, which will follow an older Hiccup (voiced by Jay Baruchel) and Toothless at the top of their game in a climate where dragons are slowly starting to go away, according to the director.

In addition to the above, Universal has also dated the Oriental DreamWorks project Everest for September 27, 2019. Directed by Tim Johnson, Everest revolves around a group of misfits who stumble across a lost Yeti and set out on a journey to get him home.
