Paramount Pictures has released a batch of character posters from Transformers: The Last Knight, Michael Bay’s fifth and final entry as director in the franchise.
The Last Knight follows Cade Yeager (Mark Wahlberg) and the Dinobots introduced in Age of Extinction as it lays the groundwork for future installments and spin-offs of the franchise to come and the mythology of how the Transformers were created is explored.
The new character posters spotlight both the heroic robots in disguise along and the villainous Decepticons, plus the returning human characters such as Wahlberg and Josh Duhamel as well as franchise newcomers including Isabela Moner, Laura Haddock, Jerrod Carmichael, and Sir Anthony Hopkins. In addition, IMAX has released an exclusive poster featuring Optimus Prime with Dragonstorm looming in the background.

“The Last Knight shatters the core myths of the Transformers franchise, and redefines what it means to be a hero. Humans and Transformers are at war, Optimus Prime is gone. The key to saving our future lies buried in the secrets of the past, in the hidden history of Transformers on Earth. Saving our world falls upon the shoulders of an unlikely alliance: Cade Yeager (Mark Wahlberg); Bumblebee; an English Lord (Sir Anthony Hopkins); and an Oxford Professor (Laura Haddock).
There comes a moment in everyone’s life when we are called upon to make a difference. In Transformers: The Last Knight, the hunted will become heroes. Heroes will become villains. Only one world will survive: theirs, or ours.”
Transformers: The Last Knight hits theaters June 21, 2017.
