‘Transformers: The Last Knight’ Video Reveals Car-Flipping Baybuster

While there is no shortage of CGI robots creating chaos and destruction in the live-action Transformers films, Michael Bay also likes to rely on the use of practical effects when crashing vehicles at high speeds.

Now a behind the scenes video reveals a look one of the key devices the production team uses to pull off the impressive car stunts: The Babybuster. Acting as a sort of snow plow, only the with the scoop in the front of the vehicle angled down instead of upward, the video gives viewers a glimpse of how the Baybuster is used to flip vehicles into the air upon impact during the filming of an action sequence involving Autobot team member Bumblebee.
