‘Venom’ Launches Twitter Account For Eddie Brock To Talk To Fans

Venom Movie Tom Hardy Sony MarvelSony’s marketing is in full force as they have set up a Venom Twitter account where Eddie Brock himself will periodically respond to fan’s inquiries.

The Twitter account, named Eddie’s Clubhouse, was unveiled after Sony’s Venom panel in San Diego Comic-Con. Thus far there has been very little Eddie Brock, but the Venom symbiote itself has been commenting on fan’s pictures and comments after the film’s panel.

Plot details on the film are currently under wraps, though director Ruben Fleischer revealed that the film will be based on the Lethal Protector and Planet of the Symbiotes comic book runs. Whether or not Spider-Man – who played a significant role in both stories – will make an appearance remains unclear.

Venom is set to hit theaters on October 5, 2018.
