More casting news has surfaced for the third season of The CW’s The Flash. It had been previously announced that would be returning and now his on-screen daughter, Violett Beane will be returning as Jesse Quick.
Beane broke the news herself while at the Saturn Awards.
“I know I’ll be back… but I don’t know if it’s with or without powers.”
The events of season two have Beane even more excited to return to the role and find out what happens next for Quick.
“When Jesse got hit, I was like ‘It’s happening! It’s happening!’ There was the spark when she got out of the coma, but… it didn’t happen, and I was like, ‘No!’ I’m very excited [to play a speedster], and would love for it to happen early next season.”
Grant Gustin (Barry Allen/The Flash) also announced some major news surrounding the upcoming season. He announced that he had just read the script for the first episode of season three. He later revealed the title after being given permission by producer Greg Berlanti. “FLASHPOINT. This is not a drill,” tweeted Gustin.
@grantgust I'm cool with you telling them the title
