‘Walking Dead’ Season 7 Could Feature Famous Comic Book Character

This season of AMC’s The Walking Dead left audiences with quite the cliffhanger but now season seven casting is hinting at upcoming possible characters, straight out of the pages of the Dead graphic novel.

While in the cast description the name “Augustus” is used, it appears to be a lot like the character Ezekiel. The casting call described the character as, “flamboyant and wise, nice and weird” and that they are looking for an African American actor in his 40s. Ezekiel first appears in Issue 108 of Image Comics’ The Walking Dead and is a self proclaimed “king.” If that wasn’t enough to interest fans, he also is known for having a pet tiger named Shiva.

While the show currently focuses on a few major communities, Hilltop, Alexandria and now Negan’s group, The Saviors, it appears that Ezekiel’s group would be added into the mix.
