Watch Behind-The-Scenes Clip Of Office Fight Sequence From…

suicide-squad

In a new feature for Suicide Squad, we go behind-the-scenes of the filming of the office fight scene. The scene itself was chaotic and complicated, with lots of action and stunts going on. Every member of the team was fighting someone and the camera took the time to pan to every character at some point, focusing on what was going on with them.

Jai Courtney, who plays Boomerang, says that the filmmakers had to make things so they all matched up. And since there’s so many people in the same shot, everything had to be timed just right.

“They had to design things in a way where, if they were focusing on Croc in this moment, that the fight that Deadshot’s up to in the back of the frame matches exactly when they turn around. And when you’ve got seven or eight people in the room all fighting multiple adversaries, then you can imagine the chaos.”

Margot Robbie’s Harley Quinn was one of the highlights of the film. According to the actress, the filmmakers allowed the actors to do several stunts on their own, even though they always had a stunt double.

“Ingrid, who’s my stunt double, she’s a real-life badass. She can do anything. But they’re really big advocates for letting us do our own stunts, which is perfect. I didn’t really want to hand Harley over to someone to do half the film, so it was amazing that I got to do a lot of it.”

Suicide Squad stars Will Smith, Margot Robbie, Jared Leto, Viola Davis, Jai Courtney and more. Directed by David Ayer, the film is now on Blu-Ray and DVD.

And the world’s biggest “Well duh!” statement goes to…

  • LupeX

Wow, so yet another award winning professional (including James Cameron, Steven DeKnight, Guy Ritchie, Tim Miller etc.) proclaims their adoration and respect for Zack Snyder? But YouTuber/Random Commenter/Blogger/Critics who have never made a film in their lives say he sucks … who am I to believe here?

    • SAMURAI36

Precisely. The bias is at an all time high these days.

      • Marquis de Sade

        Bias???
…Oh dear no, sammy…howabout BRUTAL PROFESSIONAL HONESTY?

    • I certainly believe praise from people who are employed by the same studio as a director and who would harm their careers by being critical of him, over the opinions of independent critics whose job is to evaluate and analyse movies. Because that’s totally logical. In fact, Fabian Wagner’s review of Justice League is the only one I will trust! Whoooooooo!!

      • LupeX

Yes, Fabian Wagner was forced at gun point to state his long time adoration of Zack Snyder. Since he was forced to speak and he was paid by same company, he must be a liar ! Let’s tar and feather him

      • Jonathan Bower

Apparently you chose to ignore the directors he listed and the fact that none of them were under any obligation to even speak on Zack Snyder, let alone praise his work.

    • Brownstones19

to play devil’s advocate, it doesn’t look nice to crap on colleagues, I mean reading Ridley and Gibson thought BvS was a pos wasn’t a pretty thing to read.

      • LupeX

Yes, someone had a gun to Cameron’s head and all the other artists who are effusive with their praise of him. :)

        • Brownstones19

Take a chillpill #chillpill look man, their opinion is their opinion, if you like a filmmaker then say as you please, if you dislike a filmmaker say it as well, but when it comes to disliking a fellow colleague’s work….eh maybe sugar coat it a bit.

          • LupeX

i’ll take your word over theirs’ random internet commenter :)

    • Bruce Norris

Dude can “paint a pretty picture”, no doubt. His story choices are what’s in question. MAKE NO MISTAKE.

      • LupeX

I’ll take your word over that of Christopher Nolan. Thanks for your needed input

        • You have a real problem with making logical arguments. Everything you’ve said in this article’s comments has been nonsensical, sadly.

        • Bruce Norris

I get it. Your one of those, “Don’t have a belt/ring can’t speak on being a champion”, type of people. Good luck with that. = )

          • LupeX

And you’re one of those, “have never played ball but says they know more than champions” type of people. Good luck with that =)

          • Bruce Norris

Cool. You have a good day.
