HBO lets their audiences know that there’s a lot more to the channel’s programming than Game of Thrones, as the company wisely emphasizes focus on its other shows after the recent conclusion of the penultimate season. The premium network notably advertises Westworld, a show that looks to be ready to fill the gap that Game of Thrones is going to leave when the show concludes sometime in the next two years.
The new Westworld footage comes at the end of this promo, which emphasizes both what’s already available for HBO viewers to watch and what they can expect in the near future:
The glimpse of the new footage doesn’t tell us a whole lot, but it does suggest that the season will have a much more heavy emphasis on the Hosts’s collective rebellion against their Human oppressors, with the typically-incorruptible Teddy seemingly embracing a new role as a Black Hat.
Westworld stars Sir Anthony Hopkins, Ed Harris, Evan Rachel Wood, James Marsden, Thandie Newton, Jeffrey Wright, Tessa Thompson, Sidse Babett Knudsen, Jimmi Simpson, Rodrigo Santoro, Shannon Woodward, Ingrid Bolsø Berdal, Ben Barnes, Simon Quarterman, Angela Sarafyan, Clifton Collins, Jr., Luke Hemsworth, Gustaf Skarsgård, Fares Fares, Betty Gabriel, Neil Jackson, and Jonathan Tucker.
